Here’s a fun and delicious Cheeseburger Burrito Wrap recipe that combines all the best parts of a cheeseburger, wrapped up in a soft tortilla. It’s a great twist on both classic burgers and burritos, and it’s super easy to make!

Cheeseburger Burrito Wrap Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey, if preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional, for creaminess)
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup pickles, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced onions (optional, for extra crunch)

Instructions:

1. Cook the Ground Beef:

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until the beef is fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Drain any excess fat, if necessary, and season the beef with cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

2. Prepare the Special Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise (if using). Stir until smooth and set aside.

3. Assemble the Cheeseburger Burritos:

  • Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them more pliable.
  • Lay one tortilla flat on a clean surface and spoon some of the cooked beef mixture down the center of the tortilla.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese while the beef is still hot, so the cheese begins to melt.
  • Add a few spoonfuls of the ketchup-mustard sauce.
  • Top with shredded lettuce, chopped pickles, diced tomatoes, and sliced onions (if using).

4. Wrap the Burritos:

  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top, securing the fillings inside.

5. Serve:

  • Serve immediately, or you can grill the wrapped burritos for 1-2 minutes on each side in a skillet to crisp up the outside (optional).
  • Slice the burrito in half for easy serving.

Tips:

  • Make It Spicy: Add some hot sauce, jalapeños, or chili flakes to the filling for extra heat.
  • Customize: Feel free to swap out the cheese, add bacon bits, or use lettuce and tomato as your main toppings.
  • Storage: If making ahead, wrap each burrito in foil and refrigerate for up to 2-3 days. You can reheat them in the microwave or grill for a crispy exterior.
