Here’s a simple and delicious recipe for dessert balls that can be customized to your taste! These are no-bake treats that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

No-Bake Dessert Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (like peanut butter or almond butter)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (or dried fruit, nuts, or coconut)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Coatings:

  • Shredded coconut
  • Cocoa powder
  • Chopped nuts
  • Crushed graham crackers

Instructions:

  1. Mix Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  2. Chill the Mixture:
    • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. Form the Balls:
    • Once chilled, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Coat the Balls (Optional):
    • Roll the balls in your choice of coatings, such as shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or crushed nuts, to add extra flavor and texture.
  5. Store:
    • Place the dessert balls in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
