Here’s a delicious recipe for Creamy Broccoli and Chicken Pasta Bake! It’s a comforting and hearty dish that’s easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup (or homemade equivalent)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the Broccoli:
    • If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets until just tender (about 3-4 minutes). If using frozen, thaw and drain any excess water.
  3. Mix the Sauce:
    • In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the cooked pasta, chicken, broccoli, cheddar cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Stir gently until everything is well coated.
  5. Transfer to Baking Dish:
    • Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  6. Top with Cheese:
    • Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and additional cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake:
    • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
